Beijing to Host the World's Leading Service Trade Fair
The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) will open in Beijing from September 9 to 13, 2026, the Ministry of Commerce announced on August 10. Themed Global Services, Mutual Benefit and Shared Future, the event comes as China's service trade posted a strong first half, growing 8.3% year-on-year to reach approximately $400 billion USD in the January–June period.

Media registration opened on August 10, 2026 and will run through August 26 via the official CIFTIS website (ciftis.org). The fair is a national-level platform for China's high-standard opening-up, positioned as a key event in the 15th Five-Year Plan开局 year (Year 1 of the 15th Five-Year Plan).
